Qixingzhai Scenic Area is located in the northeastern part of Enshi City, 40 kilometers away from the urban area. It is composed of Yunlong River Fissure, Da Longmen, Zhong Longmen, Xiao Longmen, and sheer cliffs. The scenic area mainly features geological landscapes such as fissures, cliffs, peculiar peaks, and canyons, and is considered the essence of the entire Qingjiang Great Fault landscape. 9 square kilometers, the karst topography is unique in that it combines both cliffs and peak forests, which are typically not found together. Enshi Grand Canyon not only has both features but also boasts a large area and high quality. It includes ten-thousand-foot cliffs set amidst a sea of peaks, cliffs that rise abruptly above the peaks, and a 20-kilometer-long rift fissure, making it a typical and unique karst geological landscape.Opening hours are from March 1st to November 30th, 08:00-16:00; from December 1st to December 31st, 08:30-15:30; and from January 1st to February 28th, 08:30-15:30. Preferential policies include free admission for children under 1.2 meters in height or under 6 years old, and for elderly people aged 70 and above with a senior citizen card or ID. Seniors aged 60 to 69 with valid identification receive discounts as per national regulations. Minors aged 6 to 18 with valid identification receive discounts, as do full-time undergraduate students and below with a student ID. People with disabilities with a disability certificate enter for free, as do active-duty soldiers with a soldier or officer ID, and disabled soldiers with a military disability certificate. Tour guides with a national tourism bureau-issued guide certificate, journalists with a press card from the National Press and Publication Administration, and members of the China Photography Association with relevant documents also enter for free.
